Building Emergency Line of Command
In the event of an emergency, it is imperative that there be an understood role and chain of command to ensure that proper procedures are followed. This line of command will allow the emergency plan to operate in an efficient and calm manner. Therefore, it is necessary to establish an Emergency Organization. The members and duties of One Financial Plaza Emergency Organization are as follows:
A. Fire Safety Director – Property Manager
- Maintain and update the Fire & Life Safety Plan.
- Assist each tenant with implementation of emergency response team.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a fire prevention program including the education of tenants and staff.
- Develop a regular schedule of inspection and testing of all life safety equipment.
- Conduct fire safety drills with tenants and staff for each floor.
- Maintain current keys and floor plan layout for all floors of the Building for the Fire Department's use.
